The Directors Have Voted, Too...

On the heels of its big PGA win, The King’s Speech’s Tom Hooper (pictured at right, on set) picked up the Directors Guild of America award over the weekend, upsetting everybody’s pick, The Social Network’s David Fincher.

It’s kinda what happens when the Oscars grow closer and closer, huh. The frontrunner loses a little momentum, the awards start going other ways....

Update: The Screen Actors Guild Awards were presented on Jan. 30, and the Actors went gaga over the king who found his voice, too.

And Alec Baldwin. And Betty White.
