Let’s Hear It for Health Care

It took him a while, but President Barack Obama signed the Affordable Health Care for America Act into law today.

And yes, Vice President Joe Biden, I agree: this is “a big f---ing deal.”

The House passed the landmark bill, after many months of tweaking and retweaking, by a vote of 219-212. It will provide coverage to more than 30 million people who currently go without it.

Next up: equal rights for everyone. Because that’s also a big f---ing deal, y’ know.
